Unable to upload files

Getting errors when trying to upload files in cPanel?

If you encounter issues when trying to upload files via cPanel’s File Manager,  such as “The file’s size exceeds your account’s remaining disk usage quota”.

Because of this, you cannot upload this file. Delete some files, or contact your hosting provider to request an increase to your account’s quota.”  when you are uploading files in your cPanel but you still have enough disk space to support the file size upload.

Check if your domain is being proxied through Cloudflare or another proxy CDN. When a domain is proxied, the CDN intercepts and manages traffic between your visitors and your server, which can sometimes affect certain functionalities, such as file uploads or access to cPanel.

Workaround:

1. Access the cPanel directly using the accounts’s IP address and port 2083:
2. Disable CloudFlare proxying for your domain and access it normally.
3. Upgrade your account with CloudFlareCloudFlare provides different upload limits depending on the level of your account, which you can review here: Customization options and limits
